A week of firsts

Last Thursay night Lily had her first bout of inconsolable crying which was related to her first fever from her first upper respiratory tract infection (cold). Then we went to the doctor's office on Friday and Lily got her first prescription for neb treatments to help her breathe easier. Then on Monday night she had her second bout of inconsolable crying which was related to her second fever from her first ear infection as diagnosed on Tuesday morning. This of course led to her second prescription, this time for antibiotics. And hopefully this will not lead to her first case of diaper rash as the doctor has predicted. Anyway, she is doing much better today and back to her happy self. Thank goodness!!

Her first bottle from Great-Grandpa Christians.

Her first time on her activity mat. She shook her arms and kicked her legs like she was really getting somewhere....very cute to watch!

  1. Poor baby! I hope summer comes soon for you guys and no more worries about respiratory stuff!! She gets cuter by the day and I have to admit that I'm one of those people that says, "Look at all that hair!!" Miss you Thelma and I hope to sneak in a little visit during the RAGBRAI!!
