In an effort to secure his position as #1 Dad, Christian has begun work on a playhouse for Lily. These pics are of the floor...the front two feet are the little porch boards (because it HAD to have a porch!) and the plywood is the size of the interior. When it's all done it will be 8'x8' with a 6'x8' interior. It will have a 6' ceiling with the peak at 9'. I will try to post more pics as progress continues. The walls are all done but have to do the dormers (or rafters or whatever they're called) before framing the whole thing up. Chris is having new-found sympathy for the amish and wonders how they get this stuff done without power tools. (No nailgun=a LOT of hammering!) And as you can tell from the pics it's been hot and humid and made my lens all foggy! p.s. yes, we will be moving/modifying the swingset.
