The other night we had a thunderstorm between 5 and 8. Lily has never been afraid of anything and usually sleeps through the storms or pays no attention. But this night she sat on my lap for the whole 3 hours and held the blanket over her head the entire team. Secretly I enjoyed this rare cuddle time.
"Is it safe yet, mom?"
