This is Lily on her actual birthday..she wore pigtails and a "birthday girl" bedazzled onesie (with jeans) to daycare. You can also see from this picture that I was a mean mommy and took her in for her shots on her birthday. How mean!!

We celebrated Saturday night, and Grandpa & Grandpa Pech babysat Lily so we could have time to decorate and cook. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa! As you can see from the pictures it was an Elmo themed party.

Elmo was ready to great guests as they walked in the door.

I think Chris liked the balloon best of all.

The birthday girl shows up in her special dress!

"What is this huge red blimp?"

Cousins Sloane and Drayke helped Lily blow out her candle...Chris and I made this cake ourselves. It was supposed to be a giant cupcake, but I'm not sure that's apparent when looking at the picture!

We ordered her an Elmo "crash cake", and I thought I better show what he looked like before she demolished him. I put a lot of cake pictures on here because she was just so darn cute eating her cake. I think it's safe to say she thoroughly enjoyed it.

Starting off a little cautious with the frosting.

"This stuff feels weird on my fingers but sure does taste good!"

I had to get a close-up on her hand. =)

Yummy!

Milk to wash all that cake down...

Still eating...

"Okay, now I'm getting a little tired!"

The end product....it took a lot of wiping to get her face, belly, legs, etc. halfway clean so she could open her presents.

And his face was still intact!

Playing with her cousins in her new wagon...and you can still see cake up her nose!

Lily received many wonderful gifts and was very happy to spend time with family. Thank you to everyone!

And now she is officially ready for spring (aren't we all ready for spring?)

Riding off into the sunset with her baby elmo...
