A tale of two spoons

Lily helped me unload the dishwasher today which is one of her favorite things to do, and she came upon an unexpected delight---two spoons...and they entertained her for quite awhile....

"This is the greatest toy ever!!! They are shiny and easy to hold and there are two of them! This day is awesome!!!"

"If I can just figure out how to shut this thing!"

"I better hide these in my special spot!....Holy cow this wood floor is slippery with socks on!"

"I'm pretty sure Mom won't find them back here!"

The spoons finally found a resting spot back in Lily's corner of the living room.

I haven't updated the blog lately because Lily is EVERYWHERE! She has started walking more and is constantly on the move. There is no more multi-tasking at our house. =) She has also learned to wave bye-bye, drink from a straw, and she can say mama, dada, and uh-oh. Of course the uh-oh sounds more like an uh-ew but we are still very proud! And in less than a week she will be 1...hard to believe!
